Hess Ornamental Iron, Inc. wins the 2016 Gold Ernest Weimann Top Job Award in the “Interior Railings - Ferrous, Nonforged” category for ornamental metal railings.
The project for which “Hess Iron” received the award is the interior railing work for The First Post, a newly opened restaurant in York, PA. The project featured steel castings with a gold antiqued finish and bronze handrails.
The award comes three years after their very first win, the 2012 Silver Ernest Weimann Top Job Award.
The 2016 Ernest Weimann Top Job Awards were presented at a special banquet on March 19th, 2016 at METALfab 2016 in Greenville, SC.
METALfab 2016 is an annual conference organized by NOMMA, the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association, founded in 1958.
The winners are determined by a vote from over 600 attending peers in ornamental metals, a group which includes some of the oldest and most respected businesses in the industry.
Hess Ornamental Iron was featured in the July / August 2012 issue of Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metal Fabricator for their Silver award win three years prior.
